FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is LazyWatch free?

Yes, and it'll stay that way. We built LazyWatch for the community, not to generate revenue. There are no ads and no plans to add any.

Can I import my TV Time history?

Yes. Request your data export from TV Time (gdpr.tvtime.com), then upload the ZIP in the app. Your statuses, favorites, and full episode history come across with their original watch dates. Export your data now so it's ready before you lose access to TV Time.

What about Trakt and Netflix?

Both are supported. Link Trakt with a short code (no password needed) to bring in your watched history, watchlist, and ratings. For Netflix, upload your viewing-history CSV and we'll match shows by title and mark episodes with their original dates.

Do you import my lists too, like watchlist and stopped watching?

During the beta we import your watch history. At full launch we'll also pull in your lists, like stopped watching, continue watching, and watch later, and sort them into the right categories automatically.

Will importing overwrite what I've already tracked?

No. Imports only ever add to what's already in your account. You can run an import again later to top up anything new without losing your progress.

Which devices are supported?

Right now LazyWatch is on iPhone through TestFlight. Android support is planned. Join early access and let us know which device you're on so we can tell you when your version is ready.

How do spoilers work?

Comments and episode details stay hidden until you've watched far enough to see them. If you want to look anyway, you can choose to reveal them, but nothing gets spoiled by default. We also count on the community to help: if you spot a comment that spoils something outside its tag, please report it so we can protect other watchers.

What are private notes?

A space to jot down theories, reactions, or a reminder of where you left off. Private notes are only ever visible to you and never appear anywhere public.

Is this really made by three people?

Yes. LazyWatch is built by three friends who loved TV Time, not a company. That's why it's still early, and why your feedback actually changes what we build.

How do I get in touch?

Email us at info@lazywatch.app. During the beta we read everything, and early feedback carries a lot of weight.
