Last updated: beta

Draft for review. This policy describes how LazyWatch currently works during the beta. Please have it reviewed before relying on it as a binding legal document.

Who we are

LazyWatch is a TV-show tracking app built by a small independent team. You can reach us at info@lazywatch.app.

Information the website collects

When you submit the early-access form, we collect the name, email address, device type, and the reason for joining that you provide. This information is sent to us by email so we can contact you about the beta. At this stage the website does not store your submission in a database.

We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they view. This does not identify you personally.

Information the app collects

If you use the LazyWatch app, we store the data needed to run your account and tracking: your profile, the shows and episodes you track, your ratings, reviews, favorites, private notes, your region for where-to-watch lookups, and any history you choose to import from other services. Private notes are only ever visible to you.

Imported data

When you import from TV Time, Trakt, or Netflix, we only read the information needed to recreate your tracking history, such as which shows and episodes you watched and when. We do not read or store unrelated personal information contained in those exports, such as login credentials or contact details.

How we use your data

We use your information to provide the app, respond to you, and improve LazyWatch based on feedback. We do not sell your data, and there are no advertisers in the product.

Your choices

You can ask us to access or delete the information we hold about you, including removing your email from the early-access list, by emailing info@lazywatch.app. Since the website does not store form submissions in a database, deletion requests for early-access sign-ups are handled manually.

Changes

As LazyWatch grows out of beta, this policy will be updated. When it changes materially, we'll note it here.
